As the children grow and I will now be watching others' children regularly as well, I am hoping to bring in godly lesson from every aspect possible. I have recently found several new resources for doing this. We have been loving the DVD series "Flockhearts" since Christmas. This is about a cute little lamb family. Great family values as well as godly principles. Another one we've recently acquired is ABC Bible Verses. This is a book of verses for every letter of the alphabet. This is a neat way to introduce the Word as the verses are on a preschool level.

There are also several other resources I have learned about but not yet gotten for our family. One is "What's In the Bible?" DVD series. This set deals with the Bible on a chronological basis to help kids (and adults) connect various stories usually presented in isolation.

Just today I have found another series called Paw & Tales. Seems like another fun way for kids to learn. This series presents character lessons in a fun, attractive, creative way. I am hoping we will be able to add this to our collection soon!

another give-away

Check out this new children's series from the creator of Veggie Tales. "What's in the Bible?". You can possibly get it for yourself if you sign up for this give-away http://mommysblessings.blogspot.com/2010/11/whats-in-bible-childrens-dvds-review.html The series is geared to be used as a supplement for parents when teaching their children about the Bible and doesn't expect to be the sole "teacher". Sounds great, hope to check it out myself soon as well.

Her's a really cool give-away that all moms could benefit from.

Who couldn't use more coverage from a bib AND Thirty-one has some great stuff!

I think I should maybe try to get some new pics on here soon.

Wow, I cannot believe it's been almost a year since we wrote to share with you. Our live has been pretty crazy I guess. Actually, we only thought it was crazy then... Now with me being as energetic as ever AND having my little "sissy" things are really a ride for Mommy and Daddy. We are busy getting used to life as a family of four. For me this has involved a lot of changes including learning that I can't always have undivided attention. For Mommy, learning to split her attention has been just as hard I guess. Or that's what she says anyway. She also thinks that the laundry and house work seem to have multiplied much more than just adding one person to the mix of our family. None of us would change it though. We love  having Aliyah with us. I just wish she was a little more ready to play with me and a little less eager to pull my hair. (This is a trick she's learned just in the past few days and is really good at it!) All in all our family is doing well. We will be having even more changes in our lives soon though. Not sure when but within the next 6-8 months or so (if not earlier) we will be moving. It will be sad to leave the comforts of living on the property here with the playgrounds, lakes, and many places to walk and roam. However, it will be good to get into a more stable place to live. (AKA: less bugs getting in, heating/air getting out, mold issues, etc.) We are desperately seeking what it is that God wants for us. Many seem to know as they would all like having us close to them and while all the options feel like good ones, we only really want God's option for our lives. Well, that is all I really have time to write about that right now. I will try to add some pictures though we have found it much eaiser to add pictures on Mommy's facebook page than here. Hopefully we'll get some on and you can see me and my Sissy.

Oh also, Mommy has found a cool way to earn free stuff for us on Amazon. She loves buying diapers, educational games, etc. there. This site gives you the opportunity to earn free gift cards (or many other prizes) by doing natural things like searching and shopping. You can also earn by getting other involved to do the same thing. Check it out at our referral link:

This is take two on telling you all about our crazy evening a few weeks ago. Mommy, Daddy, along with Jax and  Ryel's Mom and Dad's got this really crazy idea. They decided we should all sleep outside one night! Can you believe that. Ok, so we weren't totally outside we were in these strange things called tents (which by the wa  y, don't jump aka lean on the outside of it or it'll fall) but still. I thought it was fun  being out there all together and cooking on the fire but the sleeping part I just wasn't so sure about. Although when everyone else got up the next morning I was cozy in Mommy's bed and didn't care to move. :)
